  • Recently, the China Scholarship Council (CSC) announced the results of the 2022 Project to Promote Scientific Research Cooperation and High-level Talent Cultivation with Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America (the Project). The Project “Panoramic video significant calculation and quality evaluation” led by Professor Fang Yuming, Dean of the School of Information Management, got approved. This project is expected to be completed in two years, and the partner university is in Canada. This is the first time that JUFE has applied for project of this kind and got approved.

The approved project provides good chances for cooperation between JUFE and Canadian universities. It plays a complimentary role to another CSC project applied by the School of Information and Management.

In recent years, the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of JUFE has been actively exploring new ways to promote international cooperation and cultivation of high-level talents, so as to improve JUFE’s innovation ability and talent training quality in internationalization, and power the construction of the double first-class (world first-class university and disciplines) development of JUFE.

The Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education has entrusted CSC with the implementation of the Project since 2018, which covers areas of science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, and interdisciplinary fields, and funds only a limited number of projects.
