  • Recently, the cases written by teachers from the School of Economics won the first and third prizes in the 9th "Zhonghe Cup" Asset Appraisal Teaching Case Competition in 2021 (the Competition) held by the National Steering Committee for Postgraduate Education in Asset Appraisal.

The Competition held once a year is an important event in the field of asset appraisal. More than 60 universities participated in the competition, including Fudan University and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. The cases written by Prof. Yu Bingwen and Prof. Yang Feihu won the first and third prizes. There are one first prize, two second prizes and three third prizes in this competition.

Since JUFE became the first batch of universities qualified for running asset appraisal master programs in 2010, the teaching team of the School of Economics has paid great attention to case teaching and insisted on collecting case teaching materials from asset appraisal institutions during winter and summer vacations every year. It has collected more than 200 cases in more than 10 million words and published the first 4 sets volumes of asset appraisal case teaching materials in China. In addition, it boasts 3 provincial-level teaching reform projects and 3 provincial-level quality courses. The framework-based case teaching method it proposed is also well received by peer universities.
