The China Postdoctoral Science Foundation was established in 1985 with special funds allocated by the state. It holds two annual reviews and special funding once a year. It is a scientific fund specifically used to fund postdoctoral researchers in service and spur them to engage in independent innovation research, thereby building a team of compound, strategic and innovative post-doctoral talents.
