On the afternoon of November 11^th, a delegation of 7 people, led by the head of the preparatory group of the China-Europe Institute for Future Industry, president of the Europe-Jiangxi Chamber of Commerce, and the chairman of CKM in Austria, were invited to attend a symposium in JUFE. Chaired by Prof. Deng Hui, the symposium was attended by JUFE Leader Lu Fucai, Director Zhou Dan of the European Division of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, as well as the heads and backbone teachers of the Academic Affairs Office, the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the School of Information Management, the School of Software and Internet of Things and the School of Art.

Lu Fucai, on behalf of JUFE, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the internationalization endeavors made by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Jiangxi Province and extended his warm welcome to the preparatory group. He briefly reviewed the cooperation and exchanges between JUFE and Austrian universities and shared his hope that JUFE will establish closer cooperation with the Austrian government, universities, research institutions and enterprises through the China-Europe Institute for Future Industry, and build a strong VR Modern Industry School to serve the development of Jiangxi's VR industry relying on the preponderant disciplines of information technology, software, art, statistics and finance.

Prof. Deng Hui briefed the group on the basic information of JUFE and the VR Modern Industry School and its academic achievements. He pointed out that JUFE, in the digital era, is striving to integrate various disciplines and embrace the digital economy. Additionally, he expects that JUFE and the institute can give full play to their respective advantages, expand more external resources and carry out comprehensive and multi-level cooperation with cutting-edge enterprises in talent cultivation, social training, scientific research, and international education, so as to promote the integration of industry and education and the synchronous development of both parties.

Xi Guoyan, the chief commercial representative in China of the Austrian VR Vis National Virtual Reality Visual Computing Technology Research Center, introduced the preparations of the Institute and its main research results in the VR field.
