The first Yangtze River Delta International Forum was held in Shanghai from December 6th to 7th. Professor Wang Qiao, chairman of the Board of JUFE, was invited to the forum, and delivered a keynote speech on Modernization of National Governance and Reform of Government Public Service at the sub-forum themed Government Public Service Supply against the backdrop of the Yangtze River Delta Integration.
Wang Qiao pointed out that an efficient government public service system is not only a necessary condition and important indicator for the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity, but also a key breakthrough to promote innovation in national governance. In the context of the modernization of national governance, a fundamental task to reform the government public service is to build a service-oriented government under the rule of law.
In his speech, Wang Qiao explained the importance of “digital government in the innovation of the governance system, and he specified the implementation of the high-quality leapfrog development strategy and the large-scale opening-up strategy in Jiangxi province in recent years. In promoting the reform of improving government services, Jiangxi province has built a Ganfutong internet platform, and constructed a digital government.
The Yangtze River Delta International Forum is a high-end forum approved by the Ministry of Education and sponsored by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics under the guidance and support of the Shanghai Municipal Government. The theme of this year's forum was Regional integration: cooperation and development, involving government public service supply, business finance, science and technology innovation, industry, informatization and other fields.
